Hour of Flash Rules

How it works:

As we are working with Flash Kit to get hosted on there, these rules are subject to change.

At start time, the main idea will be

  • E-mailed to all registered members
  • Posted in the Coffee Lounge message board on Flashkit.com

When you've finished creating your flash, either:

  • E-mail the FLA zipped up to the judges email address
  • ICQ File transfer Glutnix (UIN: 8473626) who will then submit

The FLA and the SWF will be stored in the open source sections on Flash Kit. By submitting, you agree to the releasing of your entry to the public.

How we judge it:

You will get points on:

Interactivity How the user gets to 'play' with your movie 10
Use of sound How the use of sound compliments the movie 10

If you have any questions that need answering, please ICQ me or email me and I will forward the question and answer to all players and both websites.

If you think these rules and the points system should be changed for the next HoF, PLEASE, mail me cos I think that you should have input

Sponsorship:

Flash Kit has proposed hosting Hour of Flash on their website, and we are negotiating at the moment. You will be able to sponsor HoF when we finish moving :)
